The Dream Is Over, Definitely, Maybe…

The Black n’ White dream is over. Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama on one ticket. Finito! Thanks to Hillary Clinton. So, as the Village Idiot once asked no one in particular, “ Kay, What Happens Now, Amigo?”

Elections, Caucuses, Delegates and Super delegates.

What happened to the simple vote, where the one who got the majority won?  Democracy is about majority vote, with a strong, respectable minority voice. Simple. But nooooo, the Democrats have to make this complicated, and a fight to extreme confusion is now inevitable. This might fracture the Democratic Party.

The Village Idiot asks, “Don’t they know that?”

Where is Howard Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, the central organization of the Democratic Party at the national level? M.I.A., like they say in the army. You can bet your bottom penny, he will surface when the mess gets unmanageable not because he wants to, but because he has to. The reason for his hiding under a rock, is that he is afraid of tangling with the spinning Clinton threshing machine. That is the reason Hillary Clinton is sand blasting Obama and Democratic Party fundamentals, and not one Senior Democratic has lodged a silent protest! Not even Ted Kennedy.

The glorious Sunshine State of Florida, scene of the Hanging Chad, is once more embroiled in a political pickle. The best is yet to come. To go into it here would be excruciatingly painful. Just stay tuned. It will all come to you.

 And so, day after day, two stalwart Democratic candidates keep tearing at each other and in doing so; shred the Democratic Party to ribbons. Oh! This must be a great time to be a Republican!

Meanwhile, John McCain is busy building his fences to guard against the Democratic onslaught that is to come. The road to the White House is going to be a twisted path.  So, will Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama still manage to stay on one ticket when all the blood and dirt has been washed away. Some say No, some say Definitely, some say Maybe. Some talk of Politics and Strange Bedfellows!

The Village Idiot is silent. He has nothing left to say. He has moved on to bigger things. The political grapevine and Belt Way Boys, state that he has been invited to The White House to solve The Middle East problem before President Bush leaves office. You may laugh, if you desire.
